(Oakville, ON) March 23, 2016 - Oakville Hydro presented Denninger’s Foods of the World with its annual Conservation Leadership Award at the Oakville Chamber of Commerce’s Awards for Business Excellence.
Denninger’s, a local business providing catering services, gift baskets, freshly prepared meals and their signature sausages and meats, upgraded their entire lighting system, made changes include replacing their display cases with new energy efficient models, replacing their refrigeration and roof top compressors to significantly reduce their energy consumption. This resulted in reducing annual energy consumption by 255,000 kWh, enough to power 24 homes.
